New companies buying cloud installations fed the revenue for Vertex for the third quarter ended September 30. This was the part of the information in the first publicly reported period since Vertex went public last month.

An increase in service revenues countered a 12-percent drop in software revenue for SilverSun Technologies for the third quarter ended September 30. The company made its report this week in its Form 10-Q filed with the SEC.

Sage Summit for this year has been cancelled. OK, the web site says postponed but there will not be one in 2020 so cancelled seems a better fit.
