Zoho has canceled its upcoming Zoholics Austin conference which was to start on April 27 in Austin, Texas. The company cited the impact of the coronavirus given the fact it has “a large global employee presence” to run the show, according to Sandy Lo, head of corporate communications, global media and analyst relations.

Vena Solutions, which makes planning and analysis software, has named a chief marketing officer and chief operating officer. The Toronto, Ont.-based company named Allison Munroe as CMO and Tina Goulbourne as COO.

Local management has acquired Sage’s business in Brazil. The deal, which is for about $1.3 million, is expected to close within the next two months, the company said this week.
