The coronavirus is taking its toll on conference. Oracle has canceled its Modern Business Experience conference that cheduled for March 23 through 25 in Chicago. NetSuite's SuiteWorld has been rescheduled to August 10 to 13 , still in Las Vegas.

H&R Block is opening its Wave accounting application to developers. The company announced the move during the week’s webcast for earnings for the third quarter ended January 31.

Phocas Software, which markets analytical, business intelligence and reporting software, is working to expand its channel. The company said recently it is trying to enlist resellers for financial applications for which it has integrations.
