Bill.com experienced strong growth for its first quarter ended on September 30, sparked by its newly acquired Divvy and Invoice2go operations. In particular, Divvy had 187 percent year-over-year growth, according to CFO John Rettig.

AVALARA TO SPEND FOR AWARENESS

Avalara will hike spending to boost broader product awareness, its CEO Scott McFarlane said during the company’s recent webcast. That statement came as the sales tax company reported that it its third quarter ended September 30 it had boosted sales and marketing spending by 50.3 percent year-over-year.
