Avalara has added 22 certified partner integrations to its long list of links to other applications to more than 550. The certifications means Avalara has approved the links to the other software packages as meeting its criteria for working with the company's sales tax software.

Linda Rose, who has exited the Dynamics reselling hosting and reselling business, has put together facts and observations about the sale of various kinds of business in the industry. The bottom line was a calculation of valuations from Rose, who sold her reselling company, Rose Business Solutions, in 2013, and hosting company, RoseASP, this year.

The American Institute of CPAs and its for-profit subsidiary, CPA.com will provide up to $20,000 each in funding to early-stage companies who are among five finalists in a new program, CPA.Com Startup Accelerator. Finalists will have the opportunity to showcase their products at AICPA Engage 2018 in June that year.
