Ray Barlow, VP of accountant solutions at Sage, is leaving the job he has held since August 2015. Barlow confirmed he is leaving the software company on April 12. He did not state his plans although there are reports that he will join XCM Services.

RSM US has named Brian Becker as the firm's national consulting leader. In the new position. Becker manages three service lines focused on financial advisory, risk advisory, and technology and management consulting.

Xero has announced that it has recently passed one million subscribers. The New Zealand-based cloud software company said that it doubled its subscriber base in less than two years, adding nearly 300,000 in the last year.
