SAGE NAMES REVENUE EXEC

Rich Spring, Sage Sage North America has hired Rich Spring as chief revenue officer. The company says his job focuses on the New Customer Acquisition Group. Spring had a long stint at anti-virus vendor Symantec where he worked from August 1994 through June 2013. In his final job, he was SVP for the Americas, although his LinkedIn Page does not show when he assumed that job. Sage will need to reshoot the executive photo page as Joe Langner is still part of the group shot, although his individual picture and bio has been removed.

WENNSOFT TAKEN OVER

John Jazwiec, WennSoft WennSoft became the latest company in this space to be touched by private equity investors this week. LLR Partners made "a strategic investment" in Los Angeles, Calif.-based WennSoft. John Jazwiec has become WennSoft's CEO. His predecessor, Jim Wenninger, is shown on WennSoft's website as "Founder and Industry Strategist". The parties did not disclose the amount of the investment, but a spokesperson said LLR is now a majority owner.

SAGE SEEKS NFP PERSON, SO?

SageSage is seeking a project manager with an intriguing set of qualifications. The posting says the candidate more than six years experience in the software industry. It also notes that "exposure to the government and nonprofit market is preferred (specifically around the fund accounting and fund-raising elements of those organizations). A query sent to Sage brought what appears to be an official no response and since the ad is already being passed around the channel, the speculation began without this item needing to be published here.
