Cloud software vendor Xero has extended its relationship with Big Four accounting and consulting firm KPMG to Singapore. This follows the New Zealand-based cloud company's establishment of relationships with Singapore with KPMG member firms in the United Kingdom and in Xero's home country. Xero said KMPG in Singapore became the Platinum Partner for Xero in Asia and the first outside of its four major markets, the U.K., U.S., New Zealand and Australia.

Dynamics reseller Tridea Partners has opened an office in Portsmouth, N.H. The company, based in Solana Beach, Calif., noted Portsmouth's proximity to Boston, Mass.; Manchester, N.H. and Portland, Maine. Tridea sells Dynamics AX, GP and CRM. In its announcement, the VAR said it has more than 300 clients in this country. The press release also says Tridea has "a strong base of companies in the Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Food and Beverage, Healthcare, Distribution and Alternative Energy."

AccountMate Software has introduced its Enterprise 2015 edition. Built on .Net, the product is a step away from its traditional source-code model. "We will continue to offer source code for those dealers than want it," says COO David Render. However, the product's software development kit means "they don't need it." Modifications are made in a separate layer and are easier to maintain when software is upgraded.
