Community Brands, the parent of nonprofit software company Abila, is planning its first conference. Assembled earlier this year, Community Brands' first user conference, 2018 Xperience will be held May 6 through May 9 in Orlando, Fla.

Joe Michalski, who served as director of ISVs for Sage North America, has left the company. He had been with the software company since August 2011. When he joined Sage, Michalski was director of strategic alliances for Sage Payment Solutions, since spun off.

Sage had a good year for the 12 months ended September 30, reporting 6-percent growth in organic revenue this week. That includes results from the spun off North American Payments business.
