BLACKBAUD CEO PAY MORE THAN DOUBLES
Marc E. Chardon, Blackbaud’s CEO, had a good 2010 as his pay hit $4.55 million on a big option award for the year. Option awards of $2.77 million for the year just ended compared to $418,907 in that category in 2009 and propelled him well past the $2.04 million in total compensation that year.
Two other execs at the nonprofit accounting and fundraising software vendor had good increases in pay. Louis J. Attanasi, SVP of products, earned $831,218 last year, up from $750,146. Charles T. Cumbaa, president of the enterprise customer business unit, had $921,622 in 2010 compensation, compared to $797,688 for 2009. Pay was little changed for Kevin W. Mooney, president of the general markets business unit, as he made $1.02 million last year, about $59,000 higher than in 2009. Mooney, who joined the company in 2008, made $10,000 more that year than he did in 2009. CFO Timothy Williams, who will retire this year, made $535,257 in 2010.
