After leaving Microsoft in 2004, she joined Sage as president of the former Business Solutions division from February 2009 through October 2010. She was interim president of Sage North America from June through October 2015. Uecker-Rust posted the new job on her LinkedIn page. I apparently missed the official appointment.

Jodi Uecker-Rust has followed her old boss out of the financial software business into the North Dakota state government. The veteran of Great Plains/Microsoft and Sage has become COO of the state under new governor Doug Burgum. Uecker Rust held a variety of titles at Great Plains, ending as COO under Burgum, then the CEO.
