CCH FOCUSES ON DYNAMICS CHANNEL

Bruce Krumlauf, CCHCCH is focusing on Dynamics in developing its channel for its sales tax products. The company has been extremely quiet about sales tax, both product and channel issues, since its acquisition of SpeedTax. But since then, CCH has added 41 resellers, the majority of them Dynamics VARs, most handling AX, according to Jessica Balfour, product marketing manager, corporate services, at CCH.
“Dynamics is our primary of focus, but we are adding NetSuite to that,” she said this week. That applies to both channel development and product integration. According to Bruce Krumlauf, CCH’s indirect tax product line manager, the company enhanced NetSuite integration and “We completely redid the integration of Dynamics AX. We have a brand new integration to AX 2012.” The CCH managers said that the former SpeedTax, now called Sales Tax SaaS, has grown by 150 percent since the purchase in the middle of last year. In competing with other vendors, CCH stresses its broader line, including specialized products SureTax Telecom, which handles tax issues for companies involved in telecommunications and given the spread of mobile devices and applications is placing more vendors into that category. Whatever the products’ strengths, CCH has been behind in the PR battle. Avalara would have had a press release on new integrations.
