ERP HOLDING CO. SOLD FOR $1B+

Forterro, a holding company for ERP products and companies, has been sold to Partners Group for $1.1 billion. The sale was made by the prior ownership group Battery Ventures, which will exit the business with the close, which is expected soon.

INTUIT REVS JUMP WITH M&A

 The acquisition of Credit Karma and MailChimp pushed Intuit’s results to another level for the second quarter ended March 31. Net income for the most recently ended quarter was $100 million, four times the $20 million a year earlier.

INTUIT’S QBE UP DOUBLE-DIGITS

QuickBooks Enterprise desktop revenue rose “low-double digits” for the second quarter ended January 31, Intuit said this week. And the semi-mid-market software package helped desktop QB revenue rise by 5.7 percent over all for the most recently ended period.
