Jo Ann Benzer, who has served as the executive director of the Information Technology Alliance, has retired from her position. Benzer has worked for the association since its inception in the fall of 1997. Benzer served in the COO function of the Illinois CPA Society from 1978 through 1997. At the society, she was responsible for the strategy direction, staff and volunteer leadership succession, committee oversight, and business management.

The Rand Group has concentrated its ERP service delivery under Heather Harris who has been named SVP of service. Harris, who joined the Houston, Texas-based company in its first year, 2003, was previously a VP and before that served as senior consultant, manager of operations and IT lead. In her new role, Harris, who also holds Epicor certifications, will be responsible for overseeing all ERP service delivery.

Dynamics AX reseller Merit Solutions has launched AXcelerate, a rapid deployment offering for Microsoft's latest AX release. The Wheaton, Ill.-based organization says AXcelerate is comprised by pre-built business process models, best practice configurations, implementation and data migration templates, training documentation, reporting and standard customizations.

Fourlane has been named Intuit's Reseller Partner of the Year for 2015. It is the fifth time the Austin, Texas-based organization has received the honor. Fourlane carries QuickBooks, QuickBooks Point of Sale and QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions and says it had triple-digit growth for QBES. Fourlane is headed by CEO Marjorie Adams, whose firm provides bookkeeping, CFO and tax preparation services. Simon Pass, sales leader for the Intuit reseller program, called Fourlane," an important part of Intuit's Reseller channel."
