ISV DIRECTOR MICHALSKI LEAVES SAGE


Joe Michalski, SageJoe Michalski, who served as director of ISVs for Sage North America, has left the company. He had been with the software company since August 2011. When he joined Sage, Michalski was director of strategic alliances for Sage Payment Solutions, since spun off.

INFOR EXPECTS MODEST 1Q GROWTH

Infor expects to report revenue growth of 7.5 percent to 8.9 percent for the second quarter ended October 31. The software company says software license fees and subscription revenue will grow by 10.7 percent to 13.4 percent over a year ago.

QB ASSISTANT LAUNCHED

Alex Chriss, IntuitEverybody has a digital assistant these days and Intuit has joined the parade with QuickBooks Assistant. Intuit says the tool utilizes chat to help users is available already for QB Self-Employed for iOS and Android.

XERO CEO SELLING 3 MILLION SHARES

Rod Drury, XeroXero founder Rod Drury is preparing to sell 3 million shares at $31.50 (New Zealand). At current exchange rates, the deal is worth about $65 million. Xero announced the pending deal on the New Zealand Stock Exchange as a "likely successful purchase by institutional and professional investors".
