CEO BJÖRK LEAVES QLIK

Lars Björk, QlikCEO Lars Björk, has left analytical software vendor Qlik. That is 14 months after the Radnor, Pa.-based company was acquired equity firm Thoma Bravo for about $3 billion in cash. The owners thanked the executive but did not even say he was pursuing other interests.

Brad Smith, IntuitIt took about CEO Brad Smith about 17 minutes into this weeks' Intuit Investor's Day to actually say the word "QuickBooks". Sasan Goodarzi, the EVP who runs the small business segment, never said the word, although he did voice "QBO" for QuickBooks Online twice.

DELTEK TO PURCHASE ONVIA

Russell Mann, Deltek Deltek has entered an agreement to buy Onvia, a Seattle, Wash.-based company, which markets sales intelligence and acceleration products for businesses selling to the public sector. Publicly held Onvia had revenue of $25.7 million for the year ended December 31, an increase of 4.2 percent from $23.5 million for 2015.
