Users of Sage 50 and 100 can accept payments against an invoice and process a credit card payment using a PCI-secure point-of-sale interface that posts into Sage 50 or Sage 100 in real time. In a prepared statement, Paul Bridgewater, CEO of Sage Payment Solutions, said, "With Sage Payment Center, businesses can choose how they want to process a payment, easily spot accounts receivable trends, make payment acceptance part of their existing workflow, easily make automatic deposits, and much more." SAGE PAYMENT CENTER LAUNCHED
Sage has launched an in-product service, Sage Payment Center for use in use its Sage 50 and Sage 100 accounting software. Sage Payment Center can be used to apply for, activate and use the credit and debit card acceptance capabilities embedded software. The payment center will be embedded in other Sage products, but the company named only Sage One as being on the current plan.
