ACUMATICA NAMES ASIAN GM
Acumatica has named 
as general manager for its Asian operations. Philippe, former head of SAP Business One for Southeast Asia, will be based in Acumatica's new Asian headquarters in Singapore. Philippe held the most recent SAP job from March 2012 through this April and before that was senior channel development manager of Southeast Asia for SAP from February 2011 through March 2012.
He spent three years with Microsoft, which puts him in a growing club of Microsoft alums at Kirkland, Wash.-based Acumatica. He was Microsoft Dynamics Lead - SEA New Markets from February 2010 through February 2011 and Microsoft Dynamics Lead - Indochina from July 2007 to March 2010. Acumatica's press release described his last SAP job as one that "that involved defining and executing the strategy of SAP’s small business software suite in 15 nations within the region."
