Accel-KKR has sold nonprofit software company Abila to Community Brands. The investment company acquired Abila in 2013 when the business was spun-off from the Sage Group. Community Brands combines Abila, Aptify and Your Membership into one company. 

The early-bird deadline for Sage Summit has been extended again. The cutoff for the $199 price has been pushed to May 1 for the event, which begins on May 9 in Atlanta. The company had originally set the date at March 15 and then moved it to April 14.

Usually by this time as Sage Summit approaches, there has been a bevy of announcements about celebrity speakers. This year, there has been one—a recently arrived email with George Foreman's face featured. So the trend of the last three years continues—talk about who is speaking, not what the content will be.
