Baker Tilly Virchow Krause has named Ethan Bach managing partner of the firm's national consulting practice effective June 1, 2017. Bach is currently principal and leader of the firm's management and business technology consulting team. Based in the firm's Chicago, Ill., headquarters, he has been with the firm since 2002.

Abila has released an online Association Analyzer. The tool from the Austin, Texas-based nonprofit software company is designed to provide association professionals with personal and tailored member engagement strategies and recommendations. "We know from our recent Member Engagement Study that a gap exists between what members want from their associations and what associations believe members value," Amanda Myers, Abila's director of member strategy, said in a prepared statement.
