One of the most interesting changes to the 2017 show calendar has been the expansion of QuickBooks Connect. Until this year, the show highlighting Intuit's low-cost accounting software has been a one-site affair held in San Jose, Calif., where this year's edition will be held November 15-17.

Eric Dahl has joined ClearSource, a Sandy, Utah-based provider of outsourced business services. Dahl moved to the company this month as VP of operations and marketing from reseller Navigator Business Solutions, also based in the Salt Lake City, Utah area.

SwiftPage has released Act v.19 in North America, Australia and New Zealand, and International English. The software include the new Act Companion mobile app, along with 30 revamped standard reports and updates to the Web API that are said to produced increased integration and increased compatibility with Microsoft Office.
