SAP has introduced an automated chat bot-building capability in its SAP Conversational AI. Formerly known as Recast.AI, the Enterprise Grade capability is said to enable companies to develop bots in minutes.

Oracle NetSuite has expanded its Social Impact program, which started in 2006. Steps detailed this week include increased product donation and Pro Bono services and the  launch of a new online community and knowledge center.

Mark Hurd, CEO of Oracle, says adoption of the cloud is going faster than anticipated. Hurd made his statements at his keynote at this week’s Oracle OpenWorld keynote, reiterating last year’s prediction 85 percent of production applications will be in the cloud by 2025.
