Marko Perisic, general manager for Dynamics 365 Business Central, is leaving Microsoft. In a LinkedIn post this week, Perisic outlined his plan to enter the HR software space after working with the software company since October 2006. His last day with Microsoft is November 16.

The Sage Group took what seems a logical route, and quick route, to getting a new CEO. It has named CFO Steve Hare to the top job. He replaces Steve Kelly, who was booted on August 31, a month before the company ended its fiscal year on September 30.

A year ago, resellers were shaking their heads about Microsoft’s Dynamics naming conventions and what seemed erratic statements about product direction. This year, the buzz has changed to positive statements about Dynamics 365 Business Central, the renamed NAV in the cloud.
