Acumatica has introduced Acumatica 2018 R2, described by the software company as a major release. Available on September 19, the release features major enhancements to core modules and industry editions

Reseller DSD Business Systems has acquired the Sage 100 business from RSM US. San Diego, Calif.-based DSD notes this moves the firm’s operations into the Midwest. RSM had operated the Sage 100 practice since 1991 and had more than 125 clients.

Intuit is moving upmarket with its QuickBooks Online. In the fourth quarter earnings webcast last month, CEO Brad Smith noted the move upstream, promising more details this fall.
