Infor has explained the change in organization that led to the departure of its co-presidents this year. The company this week also announced the hiring of three other senior executives. CEO Charles Phillips explained the changes during a conference call for the software company’s earnings call for the quarter ended July 31.

Christian Pedersen, who once played a key role in Microsoft’s Dynamics business, has become chief product officer of IFS, an enterprise software company based in Sweden. Pedersen joins the company after holding the same position with SAP from January 2017 through August this year.

Acumatica thinks it has a leg up in the construction market where it says it is the sole cloud product among a bunch of legacy desktop systems. The remainder of the market is “old Dexter Chaney, old Viewpoint, old Sage,” Ali Jani, VP of partner strategy, product management, and services, said this week.
