Stephen Kelly, who has been instrumental in remaking Sage, has resigned as director and CEO of the Sage Group. He will remain “available to the Group” until May 31, Sage said it its announcement.

Karl Lopker, CEO of manufacturing software company QAD, has died at the age of 66. Lopker,died on August 25. He joined QAD 39 years ago. The company was founded in 1979 by his wife Pam, who serves as president.

MYOB’s Enterprise business showed a double-digit increase in organic revenue and an 11 percent increase in recurring revenue for the first half ended March 31, the company reported last week. The Australia-based software company, said that its MYOB Advanced comprised “almost 60 percent of our sales in ERP software” in the recently ended half .
