Sage has decided to hold 10 regional meetings called Sage Sessions. The smaller events replace the usual Sage Summit with a cast of thousands. Sage has announced the Sessions as part of its Sage Summit Tour noting, "This year, in lieu of one big event, we'll take the tour on the road to get closer to you and your customers on your home turf."

Xexo has introduced an application for self-employed users, Xero +C. The Xero application is designed for free-lance workers, but is also described as opening the market to professional accounting firms.
