Denmark-based reseller Columbus showed decent revenue growth for the nine months ended September 30 despite a slowdown in the SMB business in the United States. The company this week reported before tax profit of roughly $9.6 million for the reported period, up 4 percent from a year earlier.

Sage has hired Julie Carman as head of global strategic alliances for accountants. Carman joined Sage in October, coming from Intapp where she was senior director, business development global accounting and consulting segment from March 2016 through July this year.

Swedish software maker Visma, which utilizes Acumatica for a major cloud product, has been growing rapidly. The company adopted the Acumatica platform in 2013 as its cloud-based Visma.net and has also been growing by acquisition since.
