JobBoss, which makes manufacturing software, has agreed to utilize CenterPoint Payroll from Red Wing Software. The Red Wing application will replace the current JobBoss Payroll offering.

Dynamics revenue rose by 13 percent for the first quarter ended September 30, Microsoft said this week. The software company said that stemmed from 69 percent year-over-year growth of Dynamics 365.

Steve Blundell,who was a well-known figure in accounting firm technology, has died. Blundell, age 71, died in September after a battle with cancer. A resident of Helena, Ala., Blundell retired from Intuit in January after 20 years with the software company.
