COLUMBUS NAMES SALES, MARKETING VP Featured

columbusDanish reseller and developer Columbus has named Henning Gershof as VP of sales and market operations. Gershof was sales operations director for the company for the last two years. The Copenhagen, Denmark-based company says Gershof will be an important player in implementing its Columbus2020 strategy. Going back a bit, Gershof was with IBM in the Nordic region from August 199 through March 2011.

The official press release did not announce it, but John T. Hummelgaard, who started with the company in 2003, was VP of sales and marketing until it was announced last month he would become Scandinavian sales director for Scandinavian IT services company EG A/S on July 1. At least, that's what I got out of Internet-based translations from Danish news reports about Hummelgaard. The 2020 strategy rests on the following major principles: Customer Success, Digital Leadership, Process Excellence, and Our People. And I feel like saying, "and this differentiates a company how?"
