BLACKBAUD BUYS EVERYDAY HERO
Despite the name, the company being acquired by Blackbaud is not a TV show; it makes fundraising tools. EveryDay Hero, based in Brisbane, Australia, serves tens of thousands of individual fundraisers and 1,400 customers in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, according to the official statement.
The Australian company's 27 employees remain with the operation with plans to grow its business in the Asia-Pacific and the U.K. Blackbaud plans to develop the acquired company’s product line while integrating it with The Raiser’s Edge and eTapestry. Blackbaud paid about $7.5 million for Everyday Hero.
