The Dynamics channel is start to bubble with speculation that there are some serious executive changes likely at Microsoft Business Solutions. Since it feels like I rarely speak to the same people in executive interviews year-to-year at Convergence, I'm not sure if that's a new development. Microsoft is readying the launch of the next generation of Dynamics CRM, code-named Orion. But probably more important to resellers from a business point of view is the company’s move to discontinue Dynamics CRM Online on the platform of Microsoft Business Solutions, the company unit responsible for the four Dynamics accounting packages. Orion gives CRM a refreshed interface and Microsoft has set up a partner launch portal.
