NetSuite received $625,000 in expense reimbursements from the government of the Czech Republic for the nine months ended September 30. The information is contained in the company's form 10-Q for the third quarter in the section about possible risks, which is usually more boiler plate than interesting reading in most documents.

Dan Druker, former marketing VP at Intacct, has joined the staff of MyBuys, based in San Mateo, Calif. MyBuys, which describes itself as involved in cross-channel personalization for retail, put Druker on the payroll as chief marketing officer in October, according to Druker's LinkedIn page.

CCH is focusing on Dynamics in developing its channel for its sales tax products. The company has been extremely quiet about sales tax, both product and channel issues, since its acquisition of SpeedTax. But since then, CCH has added 41 resellers, the majority of them Dynamics VARs, most handling AX, according to Jessica Balfour, product marketing manager, corporate services, at CCH.

Sage is preparing to release a cloud version of its X3 application next year. The plan was announced in this week’s earnings presentation by chief executive Guy Berruyer. Berruyer did not specify when in 2013 the product will hit the market, describing the release date only as “later in 2013.”

Microsoft is rolling out Dynamics GP 2013 on December 19, featuring what it calls "an innovative new Web client." The company also says the new release has more than 125 feature enhancements, streamlined management and interoperability with other Microsoft technologies, such as Office 365.

The words "Intuit" and "Big Data" have not previously been linked. But the company is getting ready to discuss this year's hot buzz words in a teleconference with CEO Brad Smith next week. Exactly the direction this discussion will take is not known except that Smith is scheduled to discuss an Intuit-commissioned research report.

Aptean has launched the Aptean Unlimited Program to provide lifetime support for its products. The line includes Pivotal, Saratoga and Onyx CRM applications and the Compiere, Made2Manage and Ross ERP packages . Aptean said the program also offers increased customer collaboration and input into road maps, plus continued investment and innovation.
