A 24.4-percent increase in operating expenses cut into the bottom line for SilverSun Technologies, parent of reseller SWK Technologies, for the first quarter ended March 31. The East Hanover, N.J.-based company reported net income of $58,387 for the period just ended, down sharply from $153,853 a year earlier.

KeyedIn, which makes financial and project management software, has raised $15 million from investors. The Series C funding round was led by Arrowroot Capital.

Sage will probably add 100 resellers to its channel over the next year. The company is targeting those carrying competing products and is also cultivating Salesforce.com partners, according to Scott Ehmen, VP of North American partners and sales.
