Epicor Software is introducing a new program for its ISVs. The Epicor Alliance ISV Program is in an early adopter phase with participation by invitation only. Vish Thirumurthy, global head of alliances, described the program at this week’s Epicor Insights conference.

SWK Technologies is acquiring ISM (Info Sys Management), a Portland, Ore.-based Sage Acumatica reseller. SWK’s parent, SilverSun Technologies, says the purchase price of $1.7 million includes $300,000 cash and a $1.4-mllion convertible note and will be effective on June 1.

For years, resellers have been asked for the founding date of their organization on submissions for Bob Scott’s Top 100 and VARs. But what does all that information show? There’s no surprise that most resellers have been around awhile.
