Rootstock Software has named a general manager for Rootstock Japan, establishing a direct presence in that company. The San Ramon, Calif.-based ERP vendor hired Yoichiro Sugii as GM.

Sage has named seven organizations to the Sage CEO Circle 2018 for North America. It is a smaller group than last year and it may be part of an industry trend to cut back on VAR awards.

Dean Dorton Allen Ford, a CPA firm based in Louisville, Ky., has merged in Massey Consulting, a reselling firm based in Raleigh, N.C. The merger will be effective on January 1.
