Salesforce has introduced Lightning Web Components, a programming model to enable JavaScript developers to code on the Lightning Platform. LWC succeeds the current programming model, Aura Components, built by Salesforce in 2015.

ECi Software Solutions, which dumped its North American Macola channel, has picked Canadian channel member Harvest Ventures as part of its support team. Based in Calgary, Alberta, Harvest is now part of the Macola ERP Customer Success Team.
