In October, this publication had a headline "Xero Shakes up Executive Ranks". There has been a continuation in that theme since Keri Gohman became president of Xero's American operation on January 1. It should not be surprising that several titles have changed in this country under a new leader.

Aptos, which markets retail technology applications, has made some key executive hires this month. Most recently, it named Vicki Cantrell as its first retail transformation officer. She will serve on the executive team as will Steve Aulds, picked as development leader two days earlier.

Acumatica has released Acumatica Manufacturing Edition, one of a number of announcements, as the cloud software company rolled out Acumatica 2017 R2 this week. The new product, formerly known as JAMS, is being OEMed by JAAS Systems.
