NetSuite receives a chance to showcase its products and partners at Oracle OpenWorld next month. This is the show-within-a-show concept with top executives from what is now Oracle NetSuite joining the parent on October 3 and 4 in San Francisco. There also seems to have a very recent change in major speakers.

Acumatica offers both cloud-based an on-premises versions of its software. But for the first half of the year, subscriptions produced 85 percent of revenue with that trending upward and license revenues trending downward.

Deltek, which makes software for project-based business, has acquired Copenhagen, Denmark-based WorkBook. Founded in 2000, WorkBook markets what Deltek described "one of the most widely used management tools in the advertising industry globally". Terms were not disclosed.
