FinancialForce has named Gordy Brooks as CFO. The San Francisco, Calif.-based cloud software company says Brooks replaces John Bonney, who joined the company in September 2014. Brooks was CFO designate at Citrix GetGo from May 2016 through January 2017, and CFO at Aerohive Networks from January 2013 through September 2015.

Sage North America is holding a call with the media on Monday. Called a quarterly press call, the talk is designed to cover "Sage North America strategy, areas of focus and what to look forward to in the new year." That is a step in the right direction.

Acumatica has scheduled a September 13 launch date for the 2017 R2 version of its software. The company is holding the event in Cambridge, Mass., which will start a multi-city road show for featuring the product.
