Paul Ferrell, NetSuiteOracle NetSuite is spending a lot of money on localization and internationalization of its product. During an interview at this week's SuiteConnect, marketing SVP Paul Ferrell noted, "There is a huge investment going into the product."

The company raised spending in that area in 2017 by 25 percent and probably will increase by the same percentage this year. NetSuite also plans new data centers having just opened one in Chicago. "We are looking at opening one in Germany and two in the Far East, Ferrell said. In some cases, the development of facilities depends on laws about whether data must be housed in a particular country. "We will go where you have to go legally," Ferrell said.
