CONSONA OFFERS NEW CRM RELEASE

Consona, whose varied product lines includes the Made2Manage manufacturing software, has released Consona Customer Management Version 7.1. This is the application formerly known as Onyx. A new user interface was introduced in 7.0 and with 7.1, the company says it has extended the Navigator features and tools from the earlier release to fulfill “some of the more frequent customer enhancement requests.”

Among the changes are enhanced search and work management to provide an enhanced UI to help users within available search fields and saved filter settings and quick actions and inline editing, which permits users to make quick updates in a list of data from one screen. Consona said these updates could include items such as company, individual, sales opportunities, service requests, support incidents, work tickets, tasks or products. There are also social networking links that track an individual’s or company’s accounts/profiles for LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and other sites. Cache Flushing gives users the ability to view and use newly added fields or accounts in the UI immediately without having to reset a web server.
