SUGARCRM ADDS ALLIANCES

SugarCRM, the provider of open source, cloud-based CRM, has a new packaged integration between its application and Marketo, a marketing automation product from Nepo Systems. Marketo helps users “turn anonymous web visitors into leads, and track and manage the conversion of leads into closed deals,” according to the official announcement. Nepo’s website notes its business application suite is powered by three open source products, SugarCRM, Joomla and Zimbra.

Sugar has also partnered with Riptide Software which will combine its real estate program with the sugar package. The resulting CRM Real Estate platform is being designed for real estate agents and companies. The Riptide product can manage prospective buyers, available properties, open houses, and competing bids. Agents can track visitors to open houses, prospects who have placed serious bids, and those followed up by the agent and those that need to be contacted.
