CHANNEL MANAGER LEAVES KEYEDIN

Patrick Coulbourne, KeyedIn Solutions Patrick Coulbourne, a former Epicor channel guy, has left the position of VP of channels and ecosystems for Keyedin Solutions. Coulbourne held the job at KeyedIn, from January 2012 through this month. He had been senior director of channels for Epicor from January 2010 until his departure there and had been one of the few Epicor channel people that in the last few years to make an effort to talk to the press about the Epicor channel without having to be pursued.

Coulbourne has moved to the position of research director for channel management strategies for Sirius Research. KeyedIn, based in Minneapolis, is searching for a replacement. The company, which makes cloud-based project software, was founded by former Epicor executives Lauri and George Klaus and with Ms. Klaus serving as CEO. The COO is Sam Levy, a former Epicor sales VP, who spent a year as an Infor SVP until joining up with the Epicor expatriates at KeyedIn in August 2012. In fact, when doing a LinkedIn search for KeyedIn employees and adding Epicor as a keyword, I get 27 profiles, including several former Epicor VPs who are now KeyedIn VPs. The refugees left Epicor after its takeover by Activant in 2011.
