NETSUITE PICKS VERTICALS VP
NetSuite has appointed Peter Daffern as president of EMEA and EVP of verticals. In the EMEA part of the job, Daffern will oversee direct and channel sales and business operations. With the SuiteWorld conference kicking off in San Jose, Calif., next week, it’s probably safe to assume there will be more news about the vertical efforts (and a lot of news about defectors from competing channels).
In his prior life, Daffern was CEO of ClairMail during its acquisition by Monitise for $173 million just over a year ago. Both companies provide the back end so that banks and financial institutions can services such as mobile banking, payment and shopping to customers. Before that, he was chairman and CEO of Pursima.
