COLUMBUS UPS 2015 ESTIMATES

Thomas Honoré, Columbus Columbus has raised its predicted earnings and revenue for the year ended December 31. The Denmark-based reseller and ISV raised earnings estimate by 11.7 percent to about $15.7 million and revenue expectation by 9 percent to $168.4 million for the recently ended year. "We experienced a great final sprint in 2015 with a high activity level in several of our operational units, especially in the U.S., U.K. and Denmark, where the utilization of resources in the service business was very high," CEO Thomas Honoré said in a prepared statement.

The company said the strong burst of activity near year's end included greater sales of its own software than expected during the final quarter. That revenue level for last year would be 27.9 percent higher than the total recorded in 2014 and a return to growth as the 2104 top line was down slightly from 2013. The 2015 annual report is scheduled to be released on March 17. Columbus has been stressing the sale of its own software over selling software from other companies—read Microsoft generally. The total will also reflect this year's purchase of Interdyn BMI, the Minneapolis, Minn.-area reseller that handles Dynamics and Intacct and may be near to signing another cloud vendor.
