GERMAN GROUP BUYS HIGHJUMP Featured

Chad Collins, HighJump HighJump Software has been acquired by Körber AG, based in Hamburg, Germany. That means HighJump, heavily involved in EDI products, has been absorbed by a company that had $2.65 billion in revenue, so safe to say, terms were not disclosed. Doesn't anyone go public anymore?

HighJump has been growing via acquisition. Originally, the company was Accellos, which purchased the company known as HighJump in the summer of 2014 and changed its name from Accellos to HighJump. Its most recent acquisition came in February when it bought RedTail Solutions. Körber has 11,500 employees. Based on various lists I have seen it looks like HighJump has gotten close to 1,000 employees, but an inquiry will be sent. HighJump CEO Chad Collins says the new parent gives its units autonomy, a structure that means companies can "execute a long-term strategy focused on technology, customer success and market leadership". Körber is owned by the Körber Foundation, which Collins described as a nonprofit organization focused on societal and political issues along with scientific advancement.
