KASEYA ACQUIRES TWO CLOUD OPS Featured

KaseyaKaseya, which makes products for managed services provider, has acquired two cloud companies in the last week. Fresh off an undisclosed infusion of capital from Insight Venture Partners last month, Kaseya has acquired Zyrion and Rover Apps. Terms were not disclosed for either deal. Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, and New York, N.Y., Kaseya announced the Zyrion buy on July 9.

Zyrion utilizes ITIL-based Business Service Management technology for distributed and complex data center environments to manage and monitor IT services. The combination of Zyrion technology with its own will enable businesses to managed both private and public clouds, Kaseya says. The Rover Apps news was released on July 16. That organization provides cloud products that offer security for mobile BYOD users using a containerized approach. MSPs and enterprises can now secure their corporate information on mobile devices without affecting a user’s personal data. Rover Apps also offer central management and control of users, policies and data access and central control of corporate data and the ability to wipe it clean on user’s devices, without affecting the user’s personal data.
