DYNAMICS AGGREGATOR MAKES FIRST PURCHASE

Dynamics Ventures, which plans to roll up organizations in the Microsoft Dynamics channel, has made its first acquisition with the purchase of twentysix New York, a dealer that had been owned by Media Square. Media Square said it was making the sale because twentysix New York did not fit into its goal of building a communications marketing group.
The initial proceeds were $2.25 million in cash with $1 million paid on completion and the rest in installments. Another $1.5 million might be paid in the first six months, based on the performance of the acquired operations. Dynamics Ventures is headed by Jeff Lynn, a former COO of Tectura, who said his goal is fewer and larger resellers, although it has yet to acquire a true financial software reseller. Lynn said this week he had no news to report about his efforts. Twentysix New York promotes the Microsoft stack and carries business intelligence applications and is a BizTalk Server Integration Partner, but doesn’t market Dynamics.
