In a prepared statement, SWK CEO Jeff Roth said the company hopes to move into Europe, China and South Africa. Meller noted Mapadoc sales have increased by 130 percent in the last four years and that the company has 400 customers. He was more specific in talking about plans for vertical market expansion. SWK has a strong market among craft brewers and Meller talked about utilizing that experience. "We are testing other niche market opportunities," he said. Meller listed distilleries, wineries and other process manufacturers as among the targets. SWK has 48 craft brewers for its cloud package, BeerRun, which was developed in 2012. While the market is small, We are the largest provider of software for that purpose in that space," Meller said.

SWK Technologies has begun selling its EDI application, Mapadoc, outside of the United States. The fact was brought out this month by Mark Meller, CEO of SWK's parent, SilverSun Technologies at his presentation at the online RetailInvestorConferences.com. "Mapadoc, for the first time, is being sold internationally," he said. Meller did not provide the name of countries involved or other details about the initiative. However, this week the company said the application is being sold in Australia.
